Art is the proper task of life.

The post title is from Friedrich Nietzsche.  Both photos submitted C. Dillard of Louisiana.  I like in the first photo of the theatre you can see the street sign for Louisiana.

The first photo is from A. Ludwig in Florida and the second photo is from Nina Yoshida Nelsen from Indiana.  I like the perspective in the first photo and seeing “Music” on the stand.  The second photo just reminds me of small town America and the importance of the cinema in social life.

Out and About

Views from the road.

Submitted by S. Rigg from Idaho.  The chain is a good leading line towards the church.

Submitted by Stephen Grant from Oklahoma.  Good light and I like the curve of the road leading you into the frame.  I also like the dead end sign.  I don’t get the sense the road ends abruptly looking at the picture.
